Privacy notice
Your details, and what happens to them.

Who we are
Tim is made by HallCorp Inc., a corporation registered in Delaware, USA. HallCorp Inc. is responsible for the personal details collected on heytim.studio.
Questions or requests about your details: hello@heytim.studio.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address and, if you choose to answer it, your reply to one optional question about how you listen.
- Artist submissions: your name, email address, artist or band name, album, a link to your music and anything you write in the message.
- Artist suggestions: your email address, the artist and album you suggest, an optional link and anything you write in the message.
With each form, we also record the country you signed up from. This is worked out from your internet connection, not asked for, and it shows only the country, not where you are within it.
Our hosting provider also processes basic technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Why we use it
- To send you updates about Tim, the build and Season 1, including a welcome email, if you joined the waitlist.
- To review your music, or your suggestion, and contact you about it.
- To understand listening habits from the optional question. Answers are only looked at in aggregate.
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on each form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who else handles it
We don't sell your details. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and send email:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores form submissions.
- Beehiiv sends the waitlist emails.
- Google Fonts supplies the page's typefaces, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when the page loads.
These providers are based in, or may process data in, the United States. Where your details leave the UK or EEA, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Artist submissions and suggestions are kept while we put together Season 1 and are reviewed at least once a year. Anything we no longer need is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, object to how they're used, or withdraw your consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email hello@heytim.studio.
If you're in the UK and unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Other countries have their own regulators.
If Tim moves to its own company
We may set up a separate UK company, owned by HallCorp Inc., to run Tim. If that happens, your details will move to it so you keep getting the same updates. We'll email you before the move, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies
This site doesn't set cookies. If that changes, we'll update this notice.
Children
Tim's updates are meant for adults. Please don't sign up if you're under 16.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your details, we'll email you first.
